Growing Skills, Building Confidence: Financial Planning Matters & BeatTheBank.ie x Coerver Coaching

At both Financial Planning Matters and BeatTheBank.ie, we’re all about helping families make smart, simple decisions that protect their future. That’s why this summer, we were proud to team up with @coervercoachingleinster to support a brilliant 5-week grassroots football programme at Divine Word National School in Marley Grange.

Designed to help young players build confidence, ball mastery and teamwork, the sessions were a massive hit with students, teachers, and parents alike. Over five fun-filled weeks, the Coerver Coaching team delivered elite training in a format that was playful, inclusive and deeply empowering.

"Watching the kids develop each week was my highlight. Some of them had never played football before but they kept showing up, having fun and improving their skills. I love that. My two companies (Financial Planning Matters and BeatTheBank.ie) exist to support families, from childhood through to retirement, and this was a perfect example of what that looks like in the real world."

Why We Got Involved

Our products and services are designed to remove hassle and guesswork - just like great coaching. It’s about empowering people with the right tools, building confidence, and helping them succeed in the long term.

Whether you’re planning for a mortgage, switching insurance providers, building a retirement pot or trying to grow your wealth, we’re here to make things easier. And we believe kids deserve that kind of support too - especially at the grassroots level.

Safeguarding & Consent

Parental consent forms were collected at sign-up, and the coaching/photography team maintained a strict “no-photo” list, updated before each session to ensure full safeguarding compliance.

Final Word

Supporting local communities is a key part of what drives us - because financial confidence and personal confidence often go hand in hand. Whether it’s kicking a ball or applying for cover, we believe in making the complex feel simple.
